Marcus Thuram suffers muscle injury in Inter Milan vs Slavia Prague

The French striker was forced off in the second half and will miss the upcoming Inter Milan match against Cremonese

The French striker was forced to leave the field in the second half of the match between Inter Milan and Slavia Prague.

Marcus Thuram underwent medical tests today after the muscle issue he felt in the second half of Inter Milan vs Slavia Prague. 

The French forward has sustained a muscle strain in the biceps femoris of his left leg and will therefore miss the next Serie A clash against Cremonese, scheduled for Saturday October 4 at 18:00. 

His condition will be monitored in the coming days, along with recovery times.

Medical tests confirm muscle strain for Thuram at Humanitas Institute

Medical statement:

Marcus Thuram underwent clinical and instrumental examinations this afternoon at the Humanitas Institute in Rozzano.

The tests revealed a muscle strain in the biceps femoris of his left leg. His situation will be reassessed next week.
