Galatasaray push for Frattesi as Inter Milan await formal offer

January exit possible as Turkish club consider €35m (£30.2m) deal

The Davide Frattesi situation at Inter Milan is one to watch closely. The midfielder is expected to be on his way out as early as the January transfer window, and Galatasaray appear determined to make a serious move.

According to Luca Marchetti speaking on Sky Sport via Fcinter1908, everything now depends on the Turkish club taking the final step.

The formula Inter Milan would accept

Through intermediaries, Galatasaray have expressed strong interest valued at €35 million (£30.2m), structured as:

• €5 million (£4.3m) up front
• €30 million (£25.9m) via loan with obligation to buy

This is the only formula Inter Milan would accept to let Frattesi leave in January. Should an official offer matching these terms arrive, Inter Milan would be ready to close the deal.

Frattesi open to the move

At player level, there are no obstacles. Frattesi has not shut the door on Galatasaray and is open to accepting the proposal. 

There have already been multiple discussions with his entourage, but talk now needs to turn into action.

As Marchetti underlined, interest alone is not enough. What Inter Milan are waiting for is a formal, concrete offer that reflects the numbers discussed.

If Galatasaray decide to “break the deadlock” and submit an official bid on those terms, the operation could move very quickly.
