Inter Milan will play at the U-Power Stadium as San Siro prepares for the Winter Olympics

Inter Milan will take on Torino in the quarter-finals of the 2025/2026 Coppa Italia.
The match is scheduled for Wednesday, February 4, at 9:00 pm, and will be played at the U-Power Stadium in Monza, rather than at San Siro.

The venue change is due to the Giuseppe Meazza stadium being unavailable, as it will be occupied by preparations for the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympic Games, set to take place on Friday, February 6.

Inter Milan reached the quarter-finals after a convincing 5–1 victory over Venezia in the round of 16 at San Siro.

Their opponents, Torino, booked their place by defeating Roma 3–2 at the Olimpico, with goals from Adams, Hermoso, Arena and Ilkhan.

Inter Milan will play the quarter-final at home, as Coppa Italia quarter-finals, like the round of 16, are decided in a single match.

If the game is level after 90 minutes, the tie will go straight to a penalty shootout, with no extra time.

The Nerazzurri are positioned on the right side of the bracket, in the upper half of the draw.

In the lower half, Napoli eliminated Cagliari on penalties and will face the winner of the tie between Fiorentina and Como.

The semi-finals will be played over two legs, home and away, while the final will be decided in a single match on Wednesday, May 13, 2026.

Previous Meetings

This will be the 16th Coppa Italia meeting between Inter Milan and Torino. The most recent clash in the competition dates back to the 1990/91 season, when Torino advanced on aggregate in the round of 16.

Inter Milan won 2–1 at San Siro, but Torino claimed a 1–0 victory in the return leg, securing qualification.

Overall, the Coppa Italia record favors Torino, with 8 wins, compared to 5 victories for Inter Milan, alongside 2 draws.

One of the most memorable encounters came in the 1982 Coppa Italia final.

Inter Milan won the first leg 1–0 at San Siro thanks to a goal from Serena.

In the return match in Turin, after Torino scored early, it was once again a header from Altobelli, as in 1978, that sealed the trophy for the Nerazzurri side coached by Bersellini.
