Inter Milan rotates squad in Turin ahead of Final push

Sweet emotions are still flowing through the Inter Milan camp, five days after their sensational Champions League win over Barcelona.

Players’ minds are still partly on those dramatic 120 minutes from Tuesday night, and naturally also drift toward the final scheduled for May 31.

But the team must switch focus again—quickly—as the next Serie A match looms.

Keeping the slim Scudetto hopes alive depends on how well they can refocus.

With only three rounds left, Inter Milan knows it would take a near-total collapse from Napoli.

Sweet emotions are still flowing through the Inter Milan camp, five days after their sensational Champions League win over Barcelona.

Regardless, the Nerazzurri will aim to do their part today in Turin, even if some key players will be left out to recover fully from Tuesday's exertions. Lautaro, for instance, played almost injured and won’t be risked today.

Youth called up as key starters rested

Davide Frattesi is ruled out after not recovering in time from the midweek efforts. According to FcInter1908.it, neither Pavard nor Mkhitaryan made the squad either.

To deal with the absences, the coaching staff has called up four players from the Primavera: defender Re Cecconi (2006), midfielders Berenbruch (2005) and Topalovic (2006), and forward Spinaccè (2006).

As many as eight or nine changes are expected in the starting XI. Only Bisseck and Bastoni are retain their places.

Starting from the goal, where Martinez will be seen again: the Spaniard will start in Serie A for the second match in a row.

De Vrij is set to replace Acerbi, while Darmian and Carlos Augusto will start over Dumfries and Dimarco.

The real experiment is in midfield, with Zalewski playing as an interior alongside Asllani and Zielinski.

Up front, the starting duo could be Taremi and Correa, both currently ahead of Arnautovic in the pecking order.

Inter Milan Line-up:
