Inter Milan delivered yet another statement victory, defeating Como 4–0 at San Siro thanks to goals from Lautaro, Thuram, Calhanoglu and Carlos Augusto.
It was a complete performance from start to finish, confirming the Nerazzurri’s momentum and their hunger to collect every available point.
Speaking to DAZN via Fcinter1908 after the match, captain Lautaro Martínez, who opened the scoring, emphasized the team’s strength and ambition:
“Today we showed all our power. Como are a very strong team with young, quality players, and they have a coach with an excellent football philosophy.
But we proved our value and our desire to take every point ahead of us. For us, this win is incredibly important.”

Lautaro also reflected on reaching 164 goals with the Inter Milan shirt and on the personal journey that brought him here:
“I don’t even fully realize what I’ve achieved through work and sacrifice. As a kid I went through difficult things, and that’s why I’m grateful to my family.
I wouldn’t be here without them. I thank my wife, my children, and these fans who have supported me from the first day. I’m grateful, and I try to show it on the pitch by giving everything.”
Lautaro’s leadership and Carlos Augusto’s versatility highlight Inter Milan’s growing confidence and collective ambition
He then addressed criticism and mental strength:
“Criticism? I’ve learned how to manage that. I’ve talked with a psychologist, and these things move forward. I’m happy with what I give to the group—that’s what matters most.”
Alongside him, Carlos Augusto—who scored the final goal—also spoke to DAZN after the match. The Brazilian expressed both joy and responsibility:
“My first Serie A goal? I’m really happy, but the most important thing is the victory.
I feel good here, and I always try to help the team. I work for the group, and wherever the coach needs me, I play. My goal is always to give my best.”
The two players’ words reflect a united, focused and ambitious Inter Milan side—one that continues to grow under Cristian Chivu and shows no signs of slowing down.
