Joaquín Correa is officially a new Botafogo player. The Brazilian club announced the signing on its official website:
“Joaquín Correa is Botafogo’s latest signing. The club officially secured the Argentine forward this Tuesday (10). He has signed a contract that runs until the end of 2027.”

From Europe to Brazil: Correa’s career and International achievements
At 30 years old, 'Tucu'—a nickname earned from his origins in the Tucumán province—was discovered by Estudiantes and has spent the last 10 seasons in European football.
He played for clubs such as Sampdoria, Sevilla, Lazio, Inter Milan, and Olympique Marseille.
Correa has made 19 appearances and scored four goals for Argentina, winning the Copa América in Brazil in 2021. He joins Botafogo on a free transfer after his contract with the Nerazzurri expired.
Wearing the number 30 jersey, Correa will join the Botafogo squad in the United States for the FIFA Club World Cup.
