A crucial win that sends Inter Milan to the top of the Serie A table with 24 points, level with Roma. The Nerazzurri triumphed 2-0 at San Siro against Lazio in the 11th round of the league.
Bonny and Dimarco lead Inter Milan to the top with teamwork and confidence
Lautaro Martínez opened the scoring in the first half. In the second, Bonny sealed the result with a close-range tap-in after a perfect assist from Dimarco.
Both players expressed their satisfaction after the match:
“When I see Dimarco making a run down the left side, I know I have to be ready in the box because he always provides perfect assists. The derby is an important game, but at Inter Milan every match matters, and we’ll play it with the same desire and determination we bring to each one.”
Ange-Yoan Bonny

“We knew that the goal came at an important moment of the match because it kind of broke it open. I’m happy that Ange scored, but today winning was the key considering the other results. He works really hard, he arrived quietly but can grow a lot and he knows it — he was a great signing. I’ll let others say if we were underestimated in the summer, we don’t care: now we’re top of the table, but at this stage of the season it means little.”
