Dan Ndoye has been on Inter Milan’s radar for quite some time, and the latest confirmation comes directly from Fabrizio Romano.
Speaking on his YouTube channel, the transfer market expert shed light on the Nerazzurri’s persistent admiration for the Swiss winger.
It is no secret that Ndoye is considered one of Inter Milan’s favorite profiles for the right side.
The club has already attempted to sign him in previous transfer windows, without success.
According to Romano, this interest is far from recent and is deeply rooted in sporting director Piero Ausilio’s plans.
Ausilio’s admiration and the Nottingham Forest obstacle

Romano explained how Ndoye has long been a personal favorite of Ausilio, dating back at least one or two years. Inter Milan have tried on multiple occasions to bring him to Milan, but financial demands have consistently made the deal unworkable.
The Nerazzurri also explored creative solutions in recent weeks, including a potential swap deal involving Davide Frattesi and Nottingham Forest. Romano confirmed that this option was seriously discussed.
“Ndoye to Inter Milan: Piero Ausilio has been in love with this player for a long time,” Romano said. “We’re talking about a story that goes back one or even two years.
Inter Milan tried several times to sign him, but economically it was always considered too expensive. I already mentioned the Ndoye–Frattesi swap some time ago and I can confirm it. Inter Milan did try.”
Romano concluded by underlining that, if Inter Milan were to choose a realistic target for the right flank, Ndoye would be the name at the top of the list.
However, Nottingham Forest’s resistance remains a major obstacle. A January move would be complicated, but the appreciation from Inter Milan is genuine and unchanged.
