It’s no longer a secret that Inter Milan want to rejuvenate their defense ahead of next season, especially since Acerbi might leave the Nerazzurri club.
Speaking on Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel, Matteo Moretto mentioned a name that Inter Milan really like:
“Inter Milan are looking for a central defender for next season and are already working to scout several strong and young centre-backs.
As we’ve already said, Acerbi’s future is still 100% undecided, but as of now, the chances of a contract renewal are not very high".
Bruges’ Ordonez remains high on Inter Milan’s defensive shortlist

"Everything depends on Acerbi’s performance, but Inter Milan are already preparing for a new centre-back — and we’re bringing back a name mentioned at the end of the summer transfer window: Ordonez, born in 2004, from Bruges.
He has a contract running until 2029 and does not come cheap — Bruges are known for being a tough negotiator — but relations between the clubs are good.
We’ll see if the situation heats up in the coming months. Ordonez was, is, and remains a player that Inter Milan are monitoring very closely for the future.”
