Despite strong interest from top clubs, Inter Milan have made their position clear: Francesco Pio Esposito will stay under Chivu’s guidance
Francesco Pio Esposito is untouchable. Inter Milan consider the young striker a key asset for the future.
Just yesterday, sporting director Piero Ausilio confirmed he will remain in Cristian Chivu’s squad for the season.
Pedullà reveals behind-the-scenes details on the rising Inter Milan star
Today, Alfredo Pedullà revealed new details on his website about the highly rated forward:
“Francesco Pio Esposito is a treasure for Inter Milan, considered completely off the market. This is despite remarkable interest in the striker born in 2005, including a scouting mission from Manchester United back in January. Inter Milan have resisted every approach.”

In recent months, more than a dozen clubs from Italy and abroad inquired about a potential loan — all met with a firm “no.”
Inter Milan are convinced that Esposito will get his chance, even if Ademola Lookman joins the club — as they hope he will.
Last Wednesday, Atalanta attempted to include the forward in the Lookman negotiations. Again, Inter Milan refused.
Weeks ago, Napoli also explored the possibility of signing Esposito, reportedly willing to offer €30 million (approx. £25.2 million) plus bonuses, before shifting focus elsewhere.
“For Esposito,” Pedullà concludes, “there is only one certainty today — and that’s Inter Milan.”
