Just before kickoff at San Siro, Inter Milan manager Cristian Chivu could change his initial lineup at the last minute

The atmosphere is building rapidly before Inter Milan take on Bodo Glimt, but there might be a late shake-up in the team sheet.

Sky Sport via Fcinter1908 reports that Cristian Chivu is considering a change in midfield only minutes from kickoff.

Davide Frattesi’s chances of starting have significantly increased, and the former Monza and Sassuolo player could be in the lineup from the first minute.

Just before kickoff at San Siro, Inter Milan manager Cristian Chivu could change his initial lineup at the last minute.

If confirmed, Frattesi would replace Mkhitaryan as a mezzala, joining Zielinski and Barella in the midfield trio. Luis Henrique and Dimarco are set to operate on the flanks.

Chivu’s tactical balancing act

In defense, the expected trio of Bisseck, Akanji and Bastoni remains intact, ensuring continuity at the back.

Up front, young striker Pio Esposito is ready to partner Marcus Thuram, aiming to inject energy and movement into Inter Milan’s attacking play.

It’s a bold adjustment by Chivu, who seems eager to harness Frattesi’s pace and late runs into the box in what could prove a decisive European night for Inter Milan.
