Despite a strong season and Champions League momentum, Simone Inzaghi’s future at Inter Milan remains uncertain as key decisions loom at season’s end
Speaking to Cronache di Spogliatoio, journalist Fabrizio Biasin addressed the uncertain future of Simone Inzaghi, whose continuation on the Inter Milan bench is not as guaranteed as it may seem. Here’s what he had to say:

"Would I stay if I won the Champions League? That's a great question, because we all assume Inzaghi will remain at Inter Milan next season given the current wave of enthusiasm. But then the season ends, and we know how things go in Italy if you don’t win either the league or the Champions League. I think that the end-of-season meeting to plan the future won’t be as simple or straightforward as people expect.
He’s in his fourth year and would be entering his fifth. At this point, after everything he’s accomplished, I think he’ll want at least some demands met. He’ll want answers. It’s not a matter of salary—it’s about vision. Doing better than this isn’t easy, so I don’t think his renewal is a done deal."
Biasin: “Inzaghi needs clarity and a real project to stay”
"If he wins the Champions League, then there’s another angle to consider: 'I won it with fewer resources than my competitors—what now?' There’s serious potential here. He could become the new Herrera, because his stats support that claim, and that’s no small feat. He’s not someone who needs to prove himself elsewhere. If he’s happy in a place, he stays. But to keep him happy, you need to give him some guarantees now."
