Inter Milan transfer focus: Calhanoglu could leave, Hojlund in sight

Inter Milan's transfer updates focus on two hot names being discussed at very different levels right now.

As the squad prepares in Los Angeles for their Club World Cup debut against Monterrey, Inter Milan’s directors continue shaping a competitive roster for the upcoming season—while also preparing for potential outgoing deals. 

Sport Mediaset via Fcinter1908 provided updates on two key fronts.

Here’s the latest:

“Inter Milan may lose Calhanoglu, but not immediately—and only if Galatasaray raise their current offer. 

Nothing is official yet, but intermediaries are already working on the deal. 

The starting base is around €15 million (£12.8 million), but that’s far too low. The deal could close around €30 million (£25.6 million).”

Meanwhile, there’s increasing momentum around Rasmus Hojlund. Manchester United are reportedly ready to offer €60 million (£51.2 million) for Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo. 

Should that move go through, it would increase Inter Milan’s chances of signing the former Atalanta striker.
