Fiorentina make strong move for Inter Milan’s Asllani

The Albanian midfielder is on Inter Milan’s exit list, and Fiorentina are ready to step up negotiations to sign him this summer

So far, no official offer has met both the player’s expectations and Inter Milan’s valuation, but that may soon change.

Fiorentina focus solely on Asllani amid midfield reshuffle

Contacts between the clubs are reportedly ongoing, and the Viola have decided to set aside other midfield targets, such as Larsson from Eintracht Frankfurt and Bernabé from Parma, to focus on Asllani.

While Real Betis and Bologna have also shown interest in the Albanian international, the Tuscan club may have the right arguments—and timing—to close the deal.

Inter Milan, for their part, are waiting patiently and have set a clear asking price for the 22-year-old: €15 million (£13 million). The coming days could be decisive.
