Young midfielder seen as key for present and future

There seems to be no doubt: Inter Milan are counting on Aleksandar Stankovic both for the present and the future.

According to journalist Matteo Moretto, “Stankovic is a name for the future but also for today. 

With €23 million (£19.5 million approx.), Inter Milan can bring him back home. After that, it’s about defining the project they want to build around him. Expectations are high, and Inter Milan believe in him.”

Despite interest from several foreign clubs in the Premier League and La Liga, including a reportedly impressed Atlético Madrid, Inter Milan’s plan is to create a development path internally, giving Stankovic the proper space and value to grow into a top midfielder.
