Inter Milan rolling in gold with Simone Inzaghi on the bench: the season could yield €290 Million (£250 million)! Here are all the figures.

Inter Milan is thriving financially under Simone Inzaghi’s management. It’s another season to remember in terms of revenue for the Nerazzurri, while they await the final outcomes in Serie A, the Champions League, and the Coppa Italia.

The team remains in the running on all three fronts, and the further they progress, the higher their earnings will be by season's end.

As Tuttosport via Fcinter1908.it reports:
"Nerazzurri fans like to call him ‘The Demon’, anti-Inter Milan fans say ‘Spiaze’ (mocking his speech style), but for the club, Simone Inzaghi could comfortably be called a cash machine.
Indeed, since the Piacenza-born coach took over, thanks to the results—especially in the Champions League—he has helped the club collect massive UEFA bonuses. Adding up the four European campaigns (all in the Champions League), Inter has received €327 million (£282 million) from UEFA, a figure that could rise to €342 million (£295 million) if they reach the semifinals. But this season, Inzaghi could go even further. He might generate as much as €290 million (£250 million) for Inter Milan in 2024 alone!

Still Competing on All Fronts

Although they lost the Italian Super Cup final in January in the dying moments (earning €6.7 million [£5,7 million] from the League), Inzaghi’s Inter Milan is still competing in:

Serie A (currently in 1st place)

Coppa Italia (semifinals: 1–1 in the first leg vs Milan, return leg on April 23)

Champions League (quarterfinals: 2–1 win away against Bayern Munich)

FIFA Club World Cup, starting June 14 in the USA

The long-dreamed-of Treble is still within reach—very difficult, but theoretically possible.
If Inter Milan achieves this, they would receive €164.3 million (£142,2 million) in prize money from Serie A and UEFA alone, or €171.2 million (£148,1 million) including the January Super Cup.

And that’s not even counting club sponsor bonuses or TV rights (the 20th Scudetto, for instance, is estimated to be worth around €100 million [£86,5 million]). Add the €4 million (£3,4 million) for participating in the UEFA Super Cup, and the total reaches €175.2 million (£151,6 million).
Then, if Inter Milan wins the Club World Cup, the total prize pool would soar to an astronomical €290.2 million (£250 million) in one single season—just in performance-based earnings. This is, of course, the best-case scenario.

Maximum and Minimum Earnings

On paper, Inter Milan could win everything or just one trophy. Here's what each title is worth:

Serie A (Scudetto): €18.7 million (£16,1 million)

Coppa Italia: €7.1 million (£6 million)

Champions League: €138.5 million (£119,3 million)

But there’s also the “zero titles” possibility. Napoli is only three points behind and has an arguably easier schedule; Milan is all-in for the Coppa Italia and, if Inter Milan advances, they’d likely face Bologna in the final; in the Champions League, should they get past Bayern, they’ll probably face Barcelona in the semis and either PSG or Arsenal in the final (assuming Real Madrid doesn’t make a comeback).

And the Club World Cup is a big question mark.

Even if Inter and Inzaghi were to win nothing, the club would still enjoy solid revenue. A second-place Serie A finish brings €15.7 million (£13,6 million), the Coppa Italia run so far is worth €2.7 million (£2,34 million), UEFA would pay €98.5 million if Inter is eliminated by Bayern, and just participating in the Club World Cup (even with three group-stage losses) earns about €24 million (£20,7 million).
Including the Super Cup, that brings the total to €147.8 million (£128 million).

This kind of money would almost certainly allow the club to end the financial year in the black for the first time in many years, and enable the management to pursue a bold, attack-minded transfer market—much to the joy of Simone Inzaghi.
