The Italian newspaper Libero via Fcinter1908 reported on Inter Milan’s impressive win over Roma — a victory that arrived right after Napoli’s loss to Torino under Antonio Conte and allowed Inter Milan to catch up with both Roma and Napoli at the top of the table.

“The approach of Inter Milan in Rome was that of a team eager to impose itself not only on its opponent but on the entire league. Fierce, determined, brutal,” the paper wrote. “And the resistance shown by Gasperini’s Roma was proportional — the Giallorossi didn’t crumble under such pressure, patiently rebuilding their play through the quality of their attacking trio, though ultimately failing to convert any of the five big chances created.”
