Davide Frattesi’s future could lie away from Inter Milan. The former Sassuolo and Monza midfielder has struggled to find consistent playing time under Cristian Chivu, not only because of the physical issues that affected his summer preparation.
It is no secret that Frattesi is admired by Juventus and by their coach Luciano Spalletti, a relationship strengthened during their shared experience with the Italy national team, where the former Napoli manager relied heavily on the midfielder.
However, a new contender has emerged from Turkey.
Fenerbahce monitoring the situation
According to Fanatik via Fcinter1908, Frattesi is one of Fenerbahce’s transfer targets. The Istanbul-based club currently sit second in the Turkish Super Lig, three points behind leaders Galatasaray, and are already planning moves to strengthen their squad in January.

The Turkish outlet reports that Inter Milan are unwilling to sell the player to domestic rivals Juventus, a factor that could open the door to a move abroad. The Nerazzurri have reportedly set Frattesi’s valuation at €30 million (£25.8 million).
Inter Milan would also be open to a deal structured as a loan with an option to buy, a formula that could appeal to Fenerbahce as they look to reinforce their midfield without an immediate heavy investment.
With limited minutes, growing interest from abroad and Inter Milan’s clear stance on a domestic sale, Frattesi’s January future remains one to watch closely as the transfer window approaches.
