Inter Milan’s Pio Esposito set to stay: Agent quashes transfer rumors

Agent Mario Giuffredi confirms Pio Esposito is committed to Inter Milan, dismissing Arsenal and other transfer links

Mario Giuffredi, the agent of Inter Milan’s young striker Francesco Pio Esposito, has dismissed recent transfer rumors linking his client to the Arsenal and other European clubs.

Speaking to Radio CRC via Fcinter1908, Giuffredi stressed that Esposito is fully committed to the Nerazzurri:

"Arsenal interested in Esposito? Pio is happy at Inter Milan and will be part of the club’s future for the next ten years. Right now, he’s in love with Inter Milan," said Giuffredi.

Focus on development, not comparisons

The agent also warned against comparing the young striker to established stars, including Christian Vieri:

"Comparisons don’t help, especially for young players. Pio needs to focus on himself and develop his own style. When you start making comparisons, it creates unnecessary expectations," Giuffredi added.

Pio Esposito: a key part of Inter Milan’s future

At just 17, Esposito has already impressed in Serie A, drawing attention from top European clubs. 

However, his agent made it clear that the forward’s priority is to grow and shine at Inter Milan, where he is seen as a cornerstone of the team’s next generation.

With Giuffredi’s endorsement, it seems certain that Esposito will remain at the San Siro for the foreseeable future, continuing his development under the guidance of Cristian Chivu.
