Ademola Lookman is pushing hard for a move to Inter Milan, even lowering his salary request to help close the gap with Atalanta

Negotiations between Inter Milan and Atalanta for Lookman are ongoing. The player only wants Inter Milan and is trying to force the issue, as reported by SportMediaset via Fcinter1908.

The Nigerian forward left the Zingonia training center yesterday and crossed paths with a few fans.

According to reports, Lookman appeared emotional — it’s clear he’s ready to do whatever it takes, including making some sacrifices.

He had agreed to a net salary of €4 million (£3.4 million) with Inter Milan, but he could settle for €3.5 million (£3 million) in order to allow Inter Milan to raise their offer from €40 million (£33.7 million) to €43 million (£36.2 million) and close the deal quickly. He doesn’t want the transfer to become a long, drawn-out saga.

Signs of a departure: Lookman left out of Atalanta’s new kit launch

There’s also a notable clue coming directly from Atalanta: in a video posted on their social media showcasing this season’s new away kit, Lookman was not featured among the players modeling the jersey — a noticeable absence.

Meanwhile, transfer rumors continue to swirl, with Atalanta reportedly already active in the market to find a replacement for the Nigerian.

In the last few hours, the name of Federico Chiesa — currently leaving Liverpool — has emerged strongly. He could arrive on loan.
