There is a major lineup surprise for Inter Milan ahead of the Coppa Italia semi-final first leg against Como.

According to reports gathered by FcInter1908, Andy Diouf will be handed a starting spot. 

The French midfielder is set to operate as the right-sided mezzala in an unusual 3-5-1-1 system chosen by Cristian Chivu.

The midfield trio will feature Hakan Çalhanoğlu as deep-lying playmaker and Petar Sučić on the left, while Davide Frattesi is expected to support lone striker Francesco Pio Esposito.

Diouf’s third straight Coppa Italia start under Chivu

For Diouf, it will be his third start in three Coppa Italia appearances this season. 

The Frenchman has already made his mark, scoring against Venezia in the round of 16 and against Torino in the quarter-finals.
