Tense silence at Inter Milan: no interviews after Lazio draw

Following a 2-2 draw with Lazio at San Siro, Inter Milan made the strong decision to cancel all post-match interviews. Players and management remained locked in the dressing room

They remained in the dressing room, along with the club directors: no reason emerged from there, other than the need for a discussion and an internal analysis.

A strong decision from Inter Milan after the draw against Lazio: no club member will speak to the media or at the press conference. 

Unspoken frustration: No Comments, just internal reflection

Andrea Paventi, Sky Sport’s reporter at San Siro, explained what was gathered from the club:
"Are they staying silent to avoid saying something against the refereeing? 

That’s something we can only assume. What we were told is that no club representative will speak: considering how the match ended and how Chiffi’s refereeing was perceived, something clearly didn’t sit well and they preferred not to make any public statements. 

They took a while to announce it, but that’s the decision: we’ll see if a press conference will be held before the match against Como. 

They remained in the dressing room, the directors were present too, and no explanation came out of it other than the idea of a discussion and an analysis."
