Lautaro Martinez and Henrikh Mkhitaryan once again led Inter Milan to victory, combining goals, leadership, and emotion after the win over Lazio

Once again, Lautaro Martinez proved decisive in the victory over Lazio, delivering a goal and an assist in another commanding performance from the captain.

Speaking to DAZN via Fcinter1908 after the match, the Argentine striker emphasized that Inter Milan has no intention of lowering its standards despite already securing the Scudetto.

“Everyone behaved the right way,” Lautaro said. “As the coach told us, and as we all believe, it’s not over yet.

We still have three matches to play. We must finish our work properly. Even if we are champions of Italy, we have to stay focused and professional, leaving the best possible image of Inter Milan.”

Lautaro Martinez and Henrikh Mkhitaryan once again led Inter Milan to victory, combining goals, leadership, and emotion after the win over Lazio.

Lautaro also reserved special words for Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who scored for the second consecutive match and once again demonstrated his importance to the team.

“For us, he is an example,” Lautaro explained. “When I speak with my father, he always asks me about the dressing room, and I always mention the way Mkhitaryan works, his humility despite an extraordinary career.

We learn from him every day. I hope whatever decision he makes will be the best for his life and his family. He has given us so much.”

The Inter Milan captain also reflected on matching one of the club’s historic legends by winning the league title and the scoring crown once again.

“To be top scorer and win the Scudetto like Meazza did is a source of pride and happiness.

I always say the same thing: it’s the result of hard work and sacrifice since I was a child. Today I’m enjoying the rewards. I always thank my family.”

Lautaro also praised young talent Mosconi:
“I congratulated him because he is training very well. He’s a player with a great future.”

Meanwhile, Mkhitaryan himself spoke emotionally after another influential display.

“What’s going through my head right now? Only emotions,” the Armenian midfielder admitted. “I’ve had a wonderful career, and I’m happy for everything football has given me.

I’m proud to have been part of Inter Milan and to share the dressing room with these players because they extended my football life over the last four years.”

Still, his future remains uncertain.

“We still have the final matches left, then I’ll decide.”

Before that decision arrives, though, one final mission remains firmly in focus.

“Wednesday we have a huge challenge. We hope to prepare well and win another trophy.”
