An Italian sports news program shown Sport Mediaset looks a head to Inter Milan’s next league clash

The team will return to training today to prepare for their upcoming league match against Roma. 

Managing his squad won’t be easy for Simone Inzaghi, especially with two players suspended and a crucial trip to Barcelona looming.

Sport Mediaset provides an update before Inter Milan-Roma:

“Inzaghi will have to do without suspended players Bastoni and Mkhitaryan. Their spots will be taken by Carlos Augusto and Frattesi. 

Some good news could come from the medical front: Dumfries and Zielinski are expected to be back in the squad for the match against the Giallorossi, who are unbeaten in their last 17 Serie A games. 

Neither is expected to start, but both should get some minutes in their legs ahead of the Barcelona clash — a match Thuram is targeting for his return.

With the French striker all but ruled out for the Roma game, Lautaro Martínez will once again be asked to carry the load. 

The main question is who will partner him: Taremi and Correa have been disappointing in recent outings, and while Arnautovic has done his part, he’s not at peak fitness — much like the rest of the team, which seems to have lost its way at a crucial point in the season.”
