Quarter-final victory over Torino highlights squad depth and attacking potential

Inter Milan secured passage to the Coppa Italia semi-finals thanks to a hard-fought win against Torino, with Bonny finding the net once again. 

The French striker, called into action by Cristian Chivu, reflected on the victory in an interview with Sport Mediaset via Fcinter1908.

“Playing against Torino is always complicated, but we’re happy to have advanced,” Bonny said. “There’s a lot of potential here. All the attackers are performing well, and we are fully available for the team. We hope to continue like this for the rest of the season.”

Squad rotation and youth integration prove effective

Defender Carlos Augusto also spoke to Sport Mediaset following the match, emphasizing the importance of squad rotation and the performance of younger players.

“Important win with an experimental lineup? They did well,” he said, referring to Cocchi and Kamatè, who started in Chivu’s lineup. “They work with us during the week, we gave them confidence, they are great lads, and we must continue like this.”

Carlos Augusto also highlighted the mindset that drives Inter Milan:

“We know how last season went. But we are Inter Milan, and we play every competition to win. We always try until it’s possible.”
