With offers from abroad and key demands on the table, Inzaghi will decide after the Champions League final. Allegri looms as Inter Milan's backup plan

The final is a constant obsession, but it's impossible not to talk about the future of Inter’s bench these days.

Simone Inzaghi, as he confirmed yesterday, has offers and will evaluate everything after the final in Munich.

Inter Milan, as reported by La Repubblica via Fcinter1908.it, is preparing in case of his departure:
"The most sought-after coach on the market is the same one who, just a year ago, was blamed for Juventus' downfall. Today, everyone wants Allegri.

Napoli has picked him as the top choice to succeed Conte, and Inter Milan is considering him if Inzaghi leaves. That’s why Milan, set to part ways with Conceição, is also accelerating their approach."

Simone Inzaghi, as he confirmed yesterday, has offers and will evaluate everything after the final in Munich.

At the Champions League final press conference with PSG, Marotta and Inzaghi both spoke about the coaching situation at Inter Milan.
"Like in previous years, I have offers from Italy and abroad – including Saudi Arabia,” said Inzaghi. “Talking about my future now would be crazy. We'll address it the day after the final. If the conditions are right, we’ll move forward together. I’m very happy here.”

Inzaghi is asking for a contract extension, a €10 million (£8.3 million) salary, transfer market guarantees, and a commitment from the club to speak publicly about refereeing issues—something he’s struggled with, believing VAR errors since January have negatively impacted the league.

Allegri emerges as top option if Inzaghi leaves post-Munich

Marotta responded:
"Inzaghi needs to hear certain things, and we’re ready to say them. I’m optimistic—the cycle isn’t over."

The president knows Inzaghi is appreciated by Oaktree (pleased with Champions League and Club World Cup revenues) and also by the locker room.

Still, if Inzaghi says goodbye after the final—regardless of the outcome—Al Hilal has offered him a two-year deal worth around €60 million (£50.3 million), and a major Premier League club is also chasing him. If that happens, Allegri remains Inter Milan’s first-choice replacement.
