Medical tests confirm a right hamstring issue for Francesco Acerbi

This morning the Inter Milan defender underwent medical checks to clarify the extent of the injury suffered in Inter Milan–Liverpool.

Francesco Acerbi will have to remain out for a while. As scheduled, the Inter Milan defender completed instrumental tests with the club’s medical staff this morning to determine the nature of the issue sustained during the first half of the match against Liverpool.

“Francesco Acerbi underwent clinical and instrumental tests this morning at the Humanitas Institute in Rozzano. 

The examinations revealed strain in the biceps femoris of the right thigh,” reads the statement released by Inter Milan moments ago.

Already inside San Siro, upon leaving the dressing room, Acerbi had offered a strained expression when asked about his condition. “I’m so-so,” the Inter Milan defender said.
