“In the afternoon of today, Tuesday December 16, Denzel Dumfries underwent a surgical procedure to stabilize his left ankle at the Fortius Clinic in London.
The Dutch wing-back will now follow a rehabilitation program over the coming weeks,” read the official statement released by Inter Milan regarding Dumfries’ injury.

According to information gathered by Fcinter1908.it, Denzel is expected to be available again for Chivu around mid-March.
His 2025 season was already considered over, but the Dutchman will also remain sidelined throughout January and February, aiming to return between early and mid-March.
