Inter Milan eyes final market moves: Mosquera, Bonny, and Hojlund on radar

The special transfer window for the FIFA Club World Cup closes tonight, and Inter Milan has already made two official additions: Petar Sucic and Luis Henrique. However, the Nerazzurri continue to monitor additional targets—though any new arrivals won’t join the squad headed to the United States.

Mosquera’s situation depends on a departure, Bonny easier than Hojlund

Sky Sport provides the latest update: “For Mosquera, a departure in that area will likely be necessary to proceed. 

As for Bonny and Hojlund, the challenges differ. Securing Bonny seems more feasible, while Hojlund would represent a significant long-term investment.”

Mosquera, the 22-year-old Colombian center-back currently at Valencia, is highly regarded for his physical strength, aerial ability, and anticipation. 

He joined the Spanish side from Independiente Medellín and has made steady progress in La Liga. 

His versatility allows him to play both as a central defender and on the left of a back three—qualities that appeal to Inter Milan’s system. 

A potential move could depend on the sale or loan of a current squad member, such as Francesco Acerbi or Stefan de Vrij.

The young defender’s market value has risen sharply in recent months, and his potential aligns well with Inter Milan’s strategy of rejuvenating its defensive line while maintaining competitive depth.

Regarding offensive options, Bonny could be easier to acquire due to his current contract terms and lower valuation. 

Meanwhile, Rasmus Højlund—currently at Manchester United—would require a substantial investment. 

The Danish striker, known for his pace and physical presence, is considered a long-term project, and any negotiations would be complex due to his status at a top Premier League club.
