“The French striker is expected to join Inter Milan.”

That’s what La Gazzetta di Parma via Fcinter1908.it reports today, focusing on the future of Ange-Yoan Bonny—one of the hottest targets for the Nerazzurri to strengthen their attack.

The newspaper adds that Bonny is expected to arrive after the Club World Cup: “There was no time or margin to finalize a complex operation, and the deadline—8 PM last night—for the first summer transfer window has effectively postponed the deal to July.

That’s when Inter Milan will make another attempt, buoyed by the positive contacts in recent days and the excellent relationship between the two clubs.

While the transfer fee is estimated at around €25 million (£21.1 million), an agreement still needs to be reached regarding the payment structure and potential inclusion of player exchanges.

Ange-Yoan Bonny
According to La Gazzetta di Parma, French striker Ange-Yoan Bonny is close to joining Inter Milan, who are pushing to reinforce their attack after the summer window reopens.

Meanwhile, Chivu’s Inter Milan—who is a big admirer of Bonny and eager to evaluate Sebastiano and Francesco Esposito, along with Valentin Carboni, during the U.S. tour—has overtaken the competition.

Inter Milan leads the race despite Napoli's interest

Napoli remains in the picture, potentially ready to make a new bid. Sporting director Manna and Cherubini have a strong professional relationship dating back to their Juventus days, and Bonny’s agent, Federico Pastorello, also manages the interests of Napoli coach Antonio Conte.

However, the more likely scenario seems to be Napoli backing off and exploring alternative options.
