Saudi Arabia Confident Inzaghi has said Yes to Al Hilal: La Gazzetta Dello Sport denies it: Here’s Inter Milan’s Position

In Saudi Arabia, there’s growing certainty that Simone Inzaghi has already said yes to Al Hilal.

However, La Gazzetta dello Sport via Fcinter1908.it denies the rumors that have surfaced in recent hours about the future of the Inter Milan coach, who will play the Champions League final against PSG in Monaco next Saturday.

Here's what the Italian newspaper revealed about Inzaghi:

"The ball is at Simone Inzaghi’s feet, just like when he was a player and hadn’t even started imagining himself as a coach.

Meaning: for Inter Milan, Simone Inzaghi’s future is not up for debate. He is staying with the Nerazzurri. There is a contract in place until 2026, with the intention of renewing it at the end of the season.

The club is satisfied with his sporting achievements, which are considered top-level. Also important to note is the club’s satisfaction with the Champions League journey, which brought about €200 million (approx. £168 million) into Inter Milan’s coffers through prize money and gate receipts.

The situation is clear: Al Hilal have been pushing hard for the coach for weeks now, with a mega offer reportedly worth around €50 million (approx. £42 million) over three years — a truly shocking proposal.

But contrary to what’s being claimed in Riyadh, the coach has not already said yes. In fact, he has not informed Inter Milan of any decision regarding his future.

The club’s stance remains one of full trust in Inzaghi, something they have reiterated several times — publicly, too. This was confirmed again by President Marotta before the match against Como:

“We are in complete harmony with Inzaghi. He is the architect of this extraordinary cycle. We want to continue with him. When things settle, we will present our renewal proposal — but his contract is not expiring. I don’t see any warning signs in the opposite direction.”

Also, this is no ordinary week: in six days, the Champions League final against PSG will take place in Munich."
