Dimarco: “Unity Is Our Strength After Setbacks”
Interviewed by Sky Sport via Fcinter1908, Federico Dimarco reflected on Inter Milan’s 2-0 victory over Genoa at San Siro.
“It’s never easy to bounce back after a defeat, but this team has always stayed united and come back stronger.
You could see that today. Maybe there was a bit of fatigue after Bodø, but it’s good like this. Let’s keep doing what we’re doing because there’s not much left,” he said.
On his personal campaign, Dimarco kept the focus on collective success: “It’s been a good season individually, but what matters is the result at the end of the road. Assists count relatively if they don’t bring a trophy. I’d rather have fewer and win the league.”
When asked about the upcoming derby, his answer was measured: “There’s no need to send messages. First, we think about Como.”
Dimarco also commented on his spectacular goal: “It’s hard to explain. I scored a similar one in Verona vs Torino. I’m happy I scored and that the team won.”
Regarding what could become his most prolific scoring season, he remained grounded: “This is the job, and hard work always pays off. As I always say, if goals bring a title, I’m even happier. If they stand alone, they count for little.”
Calhanoglu: “This Goal Gives Me Enthusiasm”

Fresh off an injury return, Hakan Calhanoglu sealed the 2-0 win with a confidently taken penalty. Speaking to DAZN, the Turkish midfielder shared his relief.
“It’s not easy to manage injuries. You always want to come back, then sometimes another problem happens. This goal gives me enthusiasm and energy. I’m happy to be back. I’m trying to find my rhythm again, and I’m happy for the victory.”
Asked about the two stars tattooed on his skin and the derby looming in a week, Çalhanoğlu kept the spotlight on recovery: “I just want to come back well, then we can talk about the rest.”
For Inter Milan, the message was clear. After the European disappointment, the response arrived on the pitch.
Unity, pragmatism, and focus on the Scudetto remain the compass guiding the final stretch of the season.
