After the match, Cristian Chivu spoke to Inter TV:

“We achieved our goal — winning and keeping a clean sheet. Apart from the first ten minutes, when they surprised us with their intensity, we controlled the game. The team works hard and stays united; that’s what matters most.”

Chivu highlights team spirit and trust in young talents

“We haven’t conceded a goal and have three wins from three — that’s not easy. The squad needed confidence after last season’s disappointment. These players have passion and the desire to stay at the top.

Pio Esposito? Talented young players deserve chances. It’s not about age — it’s about mentality, hard work, and having the right teammates. I’m lucky to coach such a fantastic group that can still improve.”

Looking ahead, Chivu remained grounded:

“When you win, you must enjoy it — victories are never guaranteed. For now, we’ll focus on the positives from tonight.”
