Libero stresses that Inter Milan’s coach Cristian Chivu must impose himself and guide the team through a delicate transition phase
Today’s edition of Libero via Fcinter1908 comments on Inter Milan’s defeat at San Siro against Udinese, calling for decisive choices from head coach Cristian Chivu after the international break:
“Inter Milan forces Chivu to immediately impose himself on this team caught between past and future.

The coach will have to make clear decisions that were postponed during the transfer window until next summer. Chivu must be granted a certain margin of error because the mission is extremely complex: changing Inter Milan without stripping it of too many certainties. And doing so with the same key players who have carried the club over the last four years.
According to Marotta’s words, the transfer market will not bring further reinforcements on this final day, and the issue of the aging defense (‘We struggled to find defenders better than ours,’ explained the president) will be addressed later, meaning next June when the contracts of the oldest players expire.”
The challenge for Inter Milan is balancing renewal with stability
“So it is up to Chivu to manage this transition. What is certain is that the dressing room belongs to the coach.
In the second half the Nerazzurri displayed an entirely different rhythm because they were urged in the locker room.
Chivu knows perfectly well that Inter Milan must keep its mental and athletic intensity high, otherwise it concedes huge spaces, especially on the counterattack. He must quickly abandon the idea of controlling matches at a low tempo, a strategy used last season.”
