Romano clarifies Arsenal rumors around Pio Esposito
“No Approach, No Bid” for Inter Milan Striker
“No Approach, No Bid” for Inter Milan Striker
Speaking on his YouTube channel, Fabrizio Romano addressed the recent rumors linking Francesco Pio Esposito with Arsenal.
Is Pio Esposito a transfer target for Arsenal? Romano offered a clear update.
“Arsenal will do something in attack next summer, that’s the first point when discussing Esposito.
He’s having a fantastic season, and even president Giuseppe Marotta has spoken about him. He is not for sale for Inter Milan.

Marotta also said Arsenal have not asked for information about the player. That’s the current reality.”
Arsenal monitoring but no official move made for Pio Esposito
Romano confirmed that Arsenal are monitoring the young striker, which is hardly surprising given his rapid rise.
“They are watching him. He is one of the biggest attacking talents around, so it’s normal that Arsenal know Pio Esposito.
Their sporting director, Andrea Berta, is Italian and knows Serie A very well, so it’s natural that he follows the player.”
However, Romano was categorical on one key point:
“Arsenal have not made any proposals for Pio Esposito. There have been no approaches at this stage.
They are simply monitoring several attacking players. I think they are looking for a different profile, not a classic number nine like Pio Esposito.
But it’s still early, it’s only the beginning of March, and there will be time to understand more.”
For now, the situation remains calm. Admiration, yes. Concrete negotiations, no.
