Cristian Chivu is still weighing key choices for Wednesday’s Coppa Italia final as injury concerns shake Inter Milan’s preparations
The countdown to the Coppa Italia final between Inter Milan and Lazio is entering its final hours.
The two sides will meet Wednesday night at 9 PM (CET) at Rome’s Stadio Olimpico, but Cristian Chivu’s preparations have been disrupted by the latest injury concern involving Marcus Thuram.
As reported, the French striker suffered a physical problem during training and is now considered at serious risk of missing the final.
That development forces Inter Milan to rethink part of its attacking setup ahead of one of the season’s defining matches.
Bonny ready, Esposito recovering, midfield doubt still open
According to Sky Sport, Ange-Yoan Bonny is currently ready to replace Thuram in the starting lineup alongside captain Lautaro Martinez.

Meanwhile, Pio Esposito is moving closer toward recovery after the knock suffered against Parma and could still be available for the bench.
One of the final tactical doubts for Chivu concerns midfield.
The Inter Milan coach must choose between Petar Sucic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan for the left mezzala role in midfield.
There is also attention surrounding Hakan Calhanoglu, who is still training separately from the group. Despite this, the Turkish midfielder will travel to Rome together with the rest of the squad.
