The player closest to an extension is actually the third-choice goalkeeper, Raffaele Di Gennaro.

Why Di Gennaro could stay

Homegrown status: having developed in Inter Milan’s youth academy, Di Gennaro is valuable for squad registration purposes in both Serie A and the Champions League.
