Cristian Chivu brings a 22-man squad to California for Inter Milan’s historic participation in the first 32-team FIFA Club World Cup
Inter Milan is departing for the United States, where the club will compete in the inaugural 32-team FIFA Club World Cup.
Traveling alongside new head coach Cristian Chivu and his staff are 22 players, including new signing Petar Sucic and Italian internationals Nicolò Barella, Alessandro Bastoni, and Federico Dimarco, all recently returning from national team duty.

Also on the flight are the Esposito brothers—Sebastiano and Francesco—as well as Valentin Carboni.
Five Primavera players, fresh off a title-winning season, have been called up: goalkeeper Calligaris (born 2005), central defender Re Cecconi (2006), left-back Cocchi (2007), midfielder Berenbruch (2005), and winger De Pieri (2006).
Additional international players are set to join the squad directly in California.
