As reported, yesterday was a busy day at Inter Milan headquarters with many meetings taking place. One of the key names involved was Brazilian agent Giuliano Bertolucci.
According to Gianluigi Longari of Sportitalia via Fcinter1908, among the players discussed was also Chelsea midfielder Andrey Santos:
“It was an interlocutory but eventful day at Inter Milan. The Nerazzurri offices hosted several market summits, some with an eye towards non-European prospects.
One such case involved Brazilian super-agent Giuliano Bertolucci, who presented the club with potential talents from the Brazilian league.”
Inter Milan remain cautious due to high costs and midfield priorities
“The name Andrey Santos came up as well — the Chelsea-owned midfielder is highly appreciated by sporting director Piero Ausilio.
Inter Milan had previously shown interest when Turkish clubs were rumored to be after Calhanoglu, in what seemed to be a more serious situation than it eventually turned out to be.
However, the costs involved are very high, and unless there are departures in midfield, Inter Milan’s priorities are currently elsewhere on the pitch.”
