An extraordinary performance by Inter Milan in their 3-1 win over Cagliari, a result that came thanks to the quality displayed on the pitch by Simone Inzaghi’s players.
The three points earned against the Sardinian side once again showed Inter Milan’s great determination, as emphasized by Simone Inzaghi:

“Arnautovic was excellent tonight, he had a great game. He scored and provided a fantastic assist for Lautaro who finished off the goal for 2-0. 

We cared a lot about this match, which we knew wouldn't be easy, and we did very well.
After conceding a goal, we stayed focused and scored the third — we’re proud of what we’re doing.
Last season we played 49 matches in total, and this is already our 48th and it’s only April 12: it’s an incredibly demanding season and we’re doing well, with a lot of sacrifice from everyone.
We mustn’t forget that Cagliari are a very good team, well-coached. 

On Piccoli’s goal, we should have done better and stayed closer to the man.
I got angry in the final minutes with Thuram and told him so after the game — that was a ball that needed to be managed differently, and in that moment I lost my temper. It was a risky situation that could’ve reopened the match.

We approach the San Siro clash against Bayern with a lot of confidence, knowing we’re playing against an incredibly strong team. 

We shouldn’t try to manage the match, but rather play with great energy and determination because they are one of the top 3 or 4 teams in the world.
Carlos Augusto is extraordinary because when he first arrived, we tried to help him, but he also put a lot of effort in himself. 

In the last few games, I haven’t been helping him much because he’s been switching positions a lot, and he’s doing really well.”
