Inter Milan and Juventus set for summer goalkeeper Derby
Alisson and Vicario among targets as market battle looms
Alisson and Vicario among Inter Milan targets as market battle looms
A summer transfer derby could be brewing between Inter Milan and Juventus. According to La Repubblica via Fcinter1908, both clubs are preparing for a strategic battle in the goalkeeping department.
Juventus are reportedly strong admirers of Marco Carnesecchi, now considered close to the level of Gianluigi Donnarumma.
However, prising him away from Atalanta would be extremely complicated, with the Bergamo side valuing him at around €45 million (£39 million, $52 million).
Attention has therefore shifted to Guglielmo Vicario, who has confirmed his high level in the Premier League and could leave Tottenham Hotspur for less than €30 million (£26 million, $35 million).

But there is a twist. Inter Milan are also monitoring Vicario, and their need for a new goalkeeper may be even more urgent than Juventus’. A full-blown market battle cannot be ruled out.
Alisson option also on the table
Both clubs are also keeping an eye on Alisson Becker. The Brazilian goalkeeper’s contract with Liverpool runs until 2027, but at nearly 34 years old, a transfer could become realistic.
The Reds have already secured his potential successor, Giorgi Mamardashvili, which could facilitate negotiations for Alisson’s departure.
For Inter Milan, the shortlist to replace Yann Sommer includes Vicario and Alisson.
For Juventus, the same names are under consideration as possible successors to Michele Di Gregorio.
Two rivals. Same targets. One market battlefield waiting to ignite.
