Inter Milan beat the Granata 2-0 thanks to Nicola Zalewski's first goal - the 19th scorer this season this season - and Kristjan Asllani's penalty.

The Coach spoke at the end of the match:

“Hopes for the league? Unfortunately, it's not in our hands. All we can do is play like we did today, we needed a solid performance today: Torino haven't lost at home in nine games, they're a strong side.

I am happy for Nicola Zalewski, he's doing really well, he is adding perfection to this side and has quality: he started in this role and then played at wing back, where he plays well, Nicola played behind Taremi and Correa and did well. We played very well before the rain, with intensity. Now, we will have some days off: the lads need them.

I'm not thinking about recovering the injured players for the next match, we will see for Como: we will have to play well in all of the matches left, training well as we have always done. Worrying will not help us, we need to play as we have always done and as we did today. We wanted Martinez at all costs, we chose him because he did well for Genoa: he is a positive lad who trains very well. He's played really well when Sommer hasn't been there, he's ready to play for Inter: he did well in decisive moments against Napoli and Feyenoord, but we also have Di Gennaro if we need. I rewatched the game against Barcelona when I got home, I wanted to watch it from the top. We did really well, everyone contributed against such a strong opponent. We can only reach finals like this by doing this: we don't have the same budget as PSG, Bayern or Barcelona, but we will go toe to toe with whoever. ”
