Ademola Lookman moving away from Inter Milan after long pursuit

Sport Mediaset reports that the Nigerian forward is no longer a priority for Inter Milan, with Atalanta unwilling to discuss a transfer

Ademola Lookman, after a long courtship, is moving further away from Inter Milan. According to Sport Mediaset via Fcinter1908, both Inter Milan and Atalanta have frozen the negotiations and at the moment are not planning to reopen them.

"The Lookman deal is currently on hold: yes, Inter Milan and Atalanta have reached an agreement for Zalewski’s transfer to Bergamo, but they have not discussed the Nigerian forward and have no intention of doing so in the coming days. 

The transfer market, by its very nature, is never definitive until the closing bell, but as of now, the Percassi family continues not to consider Lookman for sale, and Marotta and Ausilio on their side are not planning to revisit the matter."

Zalewski deal separate from Lookman, Inter Milan shift focus

"The Zalewski operation is separate from Lookman, as Inter Milan and Atalanta place a very different value on the two players. 

This was one of the reasons that pushed Inter Milan to redirect their investment towards Manu Koné. 

At this stage, the Nerazzurri are searching for an opportunity: it is believed that the squad is already strong and competitive as it stands, with no need to invest at all costs. If a move happens, it will come from a market opportunity."
