Among the most fatigued players are the wing-backs: here's the case-by-case analysis, from Dumfries to Dimarco and Carlos Augusto.
From Dumfries to Zalewski, passing through Carlos Augusto and Dimarco — the condition of Inter Milan’s wing-backs is causing concern for the Nerazzurri.
This is confirmed by Italian newspaper Tuttosport via Fcinter1908.it, which offers a status update:
“Dumfries was in the stands and unavailable against Bayern Munich. Zalewski started the match but had to be subbed off in the second half against Cagliari due to cramps — Inzaghi, visibly annoyed and perhaps fearing it was something more serious, slammed the bench when he found out about the forced substitution of the former Roma player.
Carlos Augusto has been pushed to work overtime despite clear signs of fatigue. Dimarco has just recovered, while Darmian was initially rested precisely with the Bayern match in mind.
Inter Milan's wing-back situation remains a source of worry for the Nerazzurri, with the coach from Piacenza having four wide players technically available for the next Champions League match against the Bavarians — but likely none of them will be at peak fitness.
And that's not all: Bisseck finished the match with cramps, and Frattesi ended the game with a calf issue — so much so that Lautaro Martínez, with the result already secured and close to the final whistle, shouted at his teammate to “move as little as possible to conserve energy.”

Lautaro himself, in the first half, twisted his ankle — a sign of how, with games every three days, every little detail makes a difference.
In short, the goal against Bayern will be to qualify for the next round, and then focus on vital rotation strategies.
Those rotations, in fact, worked well yesterday: the chosen ones did their job — Bisseck (starting in place of Pavard) scored the third goal for Inter Milan, De Vrij prevented Piccoli from making it 3-2, Frattesi and Zalewski did their part (with Darmian and Mkhitaryan ready for the Bayern match), Carlos Augusto remained reliable as ever, and Arnautovic delivered a brilliant performance (leaving Thuram fresher for Wednesday), concludes Tuttosport.
