Following their stunning 4–3 win over Barcelona, Inter Milan returned to Appiano Gentile surrounded by euphoria—but coach Inzaghi keeps the focus sharp

After the incredible victory against Barcelona, Inter Milan regrouped at Appiano Gentile in an atmosphere of inevitable euphoria.

Simone Inzaghi granted his players a day of rest to recover both physically and mentally, but he immediately called the team back to focus—the league title is not officially lost yet.

"It was mainly about clearing their heads, relaxing with family, emptying the mind to fill it with a new keyword: Monaco," reported the Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport via Fcinter1908.it. "After discovering that Luis Enrique will be waiting in the Bavarian final, the Nerazzurri reunited at Appiano still buzzing with excitement—as expected."

At the same time, Inzaghi made things clear. No dramatic speeches or theatrics were needed—motivation is already sky-high—but he repeated a simple message to everyone: no one is allowed to slow down now.

In fact, this is the moment to push even harder, fueled by the adrenaline of a Champions League final.

Yesterday, all the heroes of the 4–3 victory engaged in light recovery work, with the exception of Lautaro and Benji Pavard, who trained separately for obvious reasons. Simone wants no drop in intensity in the Serie A campaign either.

As long as the math doesn't rule them out, Inter Milan intends to stay in the title fight.

Champions League adrenaline fuels domestic title hopes

Everyone at the club knows that catching Conte’s Napoli would require an unexpected collapse, but keeping pressure on the former Inter Milan coach by winning all three remaining matches is the only way to keep that flame alive.

For Inzaghi, there’s no better training ground for the Champions League final than a red-hot Serie A finish.
