Inter Milan are in the Champions League final—another historic milestone. 

Coach Simone Inzaghi described the victory after the match:

The boys delivered two monstrous performances to reach this final, and I’m very proud—they gave everything.

The substitutes were fantastic, they kept the level high, and they deserved a win like this in front of our fans. They were exemplary. 

The changes helped us believe and contain a team like Barcelona. We overcame every obstacle with heart.

We played using our own weapons and qualities. After the first leg, we were very clear on what needed to be done, but without everyone's sacrifice and support, it wouldn't have happened.

I saw another extraordinary player besides Yamal—Frenkie de Jong impressed me a lot. He even helped bring the defense forward. 

My own players, though, I wouldn’t trade them for anything in the world. They’ve been amazing and fully deserve this final.”
