Nerazzurri consider young striker untouchable

The impressive breakthrough season of Francesco Pio Esposito has not gone unnoticed. The young striker from Inter Milan has attracted attention not only in Italy but also abroad, particularly in the Premier League.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano via Fcinter1908, several English clubs are monitoring the Nerazzurri forward closely.

Newcastle ready to make serious move for Pio Esposito

While Arsenal have been linked with Esposito in recent reports, Romano explained that the London club have not taken any concrete steps beyond general scouting activities.

Instead, the club most seriously considering a move appears to be Newcastle United.

“One of the players Inter Milan consider untouchable for the summer is Pio Esposito. Abroad there has been a lot of talk about Arsenal, but the Gunners haven’t made any moves beyond scouting several players. 

A club that, from what I’m told, could really make a serious financial effort is Newcastle. They will sign a striker this summer and Esposito is one of the names being discussed. He’s a profile they like a lot.”

Inter Milan unwilling to negotiate

Despite the growing interest from England, Inter Milan currently have no intention of opening negotiations for their highly rated young forward. 

The club see Esposito as a key part of their long-term project and are determined to keep him at San Siro.
