Inter Milan is dreaming big, aiming for all objectives. Match after match, Inzaghi’s team is trying to accomplish something incredible. The semifinals against Barcelona await, but first, there are other matches to play.

And it’s that composure, according to Inzaghi, that is one of his team’s biggest strengths.

“Simone, as Lautaro said back in December, ‘still thinks like a player, and that’s hugely important for us.’” This Inter Milan side plays as if bound by a steel wire, because empathy alone is not enough: it takes knowledge, ideas, and tactical countermeasures to stop opponents who are richer and, on paper, stronger.

There’s an outsider roaming across Europe: under Inzaghi, Inter Milan has reached the semifinals twice, just like in Herrera’s days.
