Turkish reports claim deal in place after Cancelo–Inter Milan collapse

A sensational rumor is emerging from Turkey, made even more striking after the definitive collapse of the Cancelo–Inter Milan deal.

According to Turkish sources, Besiktas have reached a preliminary agreement with Luis Henrique.

The report comes from journalist Ertan Süzgün, who claims that the Istanbul-based club are keen to strengthen their squad with the Brazilian winger, who joined Inter Milan last summer.

Calhanoglu’s role and Besiktas’ interest on Luis Henrique

Süzgün adds an intriguing detail: Besiktas coach Sergen Yalçın reportedly sought direct reassurance about Luis Henrique’s qualities from Hakan Çalhanoğlu.

The two are said to have spoken via FaceTime, with the Inter Milan midfielder offering positive feedback on the Brazilian’s abilities.

Inter Milan’s request and loan terms

According to the same report, Inter Milan would be asking for €5 million (£4.3m) for an 18-month loan deal.

While no official confirmation has arrived yet, confidence is growing in Turkey that negotiations could progress quickly.

January move possible

Luis Henrique has made 15 appearances for Inter Milan this season, registering one assist. While his role has been rotational, Besiktas reportedly view him as a potential January reinforcement capable of making an immediate impact.

For now, it remains an unconfirmed report. But in Turkey, belief is strong that Luis Henrique could soon be on his way out of Inter Milan and into Besiktas’ plans.
