Chivu plans rotation as Inter Milan face Bologna in Supercoppa Semi-Final

Several key players set to rest as Inter Milan prepare for tonight’s Supercoppa clash with Bologna

Inter Milan head coach Cristian Chivu is considering several changes to the lineup that will face Bologna tonight in the Supercoppa semi-final.

According to Sky Sport via Fcinter1908, Akanji, Lautaro Martinez and Nicolò Barella are expected to be given a rest. 

In defense, Stefan De Vrij will return to the center of the three-man back line, with Bisseck and Bastoni operating as the two wide center-backs.

In midfield, Hakan Calhanoglu is set to start on the bench. Piotr Zielinski will act as the deep-lying playmaker, flanked by Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Davide Frattesi, while Barella should also begin among the substitutes.

Up front, the attacking partnership is expected to feature Marcus Thuram and Bonny, with Lautaro Martinez and Esposito ready to come on during the match.
